Meet Our Team!

On May 12, 2017, twenty-three-year-old Corey LaFave was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma. Corey geared himself up for the fight of his life, and he never stopped fighting. He was a warrior in the true sense of the word, facing his cancer diagnosis with courage and strength. He loved God, his family, and his friends. He endured chemotherapy, surgeries, and terrible sickness.

On February 12, 2018, exactly 9 months after his diagnosis, Corey entered his heavenly home. 

 

We knew that we must continue his earthly fight. On October 1, 2018, what would have been Corey's 25th birthday, CoreyStrong was born. 

 

The first year, we raised $10,000 for The 1 Million 4 Anna Foundation to help fund research to fight Ewing Sarcoma. We also donated over $2,200 to two young ladies battling a relapse of Ewing's. By October 1, 2019, we established our own non-profit organization to support those who currently fight, as well as the families of those whose earthly battles have ended.

Our team is made up of Corey's friends and family. We're dedicated to raising awareness about Ewing Sarcoma and supporting Ewing Sarcoma families.
